I've noticed that in all my past posts, I usually start off with So...
So, I thought I would keep with it and tell you that things are starting to look up in life again. Rick got a new job with Fountain Tire. He started on Tuesday May 30, in which most of his day was spent looking around the shop, getting to know people and where things are, and filling out a ton of paper work and doing a lot of reading. Wednesday, he hung around the shop til lunch, came home and packed his bags, and Fountain Tire flew him out to Edmonton for training. He got to stay in the Delta hotel in downtown Edmonton. When he got to the hotel, and was conversating with the hotel staff, he told them this was his first business trip, plane ride (that he could remember), etc. So the lady behind the desk bumped up his Single Occupancy Room to a suite. Rick called it the Presidential suite, cause it had two floors, a king size bed, a dining room table, and a 3 man jaccuzi tub, and more. He was so excited about this room, that he even had to tell me there was a phone in his bathroom. He wished the girls and I could have been there to share the space with him. He had a lot of fun anyways. He wasn't even there for an hour and had already called my Uncle Dick. They went to Uncle Dick's race shop. Rick was pretty excited about that. He is in the middle of his work week, and so far likes his job as a Service Advisor. He likes the feeling of being able to have some authority, even though he is the new guy, and he gets to sell stuff he is familiar with. My favorite part of his job, is that he gets to dress up, and comes home clean at the end of the day.
We also bought another boat. The new boat is bigger than the first one we bought. Rick took it out fishing the other day. He says it needs a little work, but it still gets us out fishing. We are looking SOOO forward to spending the summer fishing and camping.
The girls are doing VERY well. Kaylee is climbing stairs. MacKenzie is quite the encourager. lol. I guess its time to put a gate up. MacKenzie is fully potty trained. Despite the advise I got from EVERYONE about how long ago I should have been training MacKenzie, I never listened to them. I waited til MacKenzie wanted to go, and as a result, I didn't have to do any training. One day with a dress on, and nothing underneath, and she knew what to do. She even goes #1 and #2 in the potty (not that you all wanted to know, but I am so proud, lol). And she wakes up at night to go on the potty. Which is kind of annoying, because I thought I was sleeping well..lol. Oh well. if it saves me money by not buying diapers, I will wake up at night. And Daddy is now fully potty trained too. MacKenzie will just pull down her pants, and go on the potty herself.
Hmmm.. I think thats about all. I don't think I really have much to say for what I've been up to. Oh wait..I do have one thing. I made home made bread the other day. It was the first time I made it by myself. I used the recipie that Rick's granma showed me how to make. It was so good that even Kim said it tasted like grandma's bread. And I didn't even burn it. I'm pretty proud of myself..except now I think I am getting old. Only grandma's are supposed to make bread..lol.
I'm going to Heather's house tonight to use her computer to clean off my camera. Hopefully later tonight I can post some pictures for you all to see.
TTFN ..which means ta ta for now...I was watching Winnie the Pooh this morning...lol

You seem to have all the parenting answers. People who give advice are just trying to help. RELAX.
Some people give advice, others are just trying to control. And I am not really one to take unasked for advice nicely. I don't think I have all the parenting answers; I just know what works for MY OWN children most of the time. And if it works for someone elses children, well, then thats great that what I do works for someone else. And there isn't always answers for everything, and I don't always have an answer. I mean, I'm not the first parent to live on this earth; there are many different ways to go about doing things, as to what works and what doesn't; I just do what works best for me, and what makes me feel good as a parent. People should also not feel offended if I ask them for advice and not take it. Sometimes you just need to have options.
RRRR! I am not a happy person right now!
