Blogging Firends

Yesterday was a very exciting day for me. I got to meet some blogging friends. We all met at Sarah's house, and enjoyed a wonderful lunch. Thank you Sarah for being such an awesome host. It was really great to meet Sarah, Ninette, and especially Rebekah, Trevor and Isaiah, and all the other kids.
I have been talking with Rebekah for some time now, and from all the wonderful conversations and emails we have shared, I have grown to love and appreciate her so much as a friend, and look forward to sharing more with her. It was so great to meet you, and your family in person Rebekah, and your little Isaiah is SOOO sweet and adorable I wish I could have taken him home with me :)
Sarah and Ninette, it was great to meet you both as well, and look forward to reading your blogs and getting to know you guys better. I really enjoyed our visit.
And my beautiful Sister in Law Kim...I love spending time with you, and am glad we can share some of these fun times together, meeting new friends.

Painting Fun

It was so hot outside today, and all the kids were bored of doing the usual...riding bikes, and running around. So...I decided to bring out our big roll of paper, and the paints, and let them create for a while this afternoon. Here are a few pictures :)

Forestry Farm BBQ and photo shoot

On Saturday, we went to the Forestry Farm park for a BBQ with some of the moms from our table at our MOM's group. We had a beautiful after noon, and a great time visiting. We got to meet everyone's husbands. They all found some common ground and got a long great. This is a pic of all the moms and kids.

From L-R is me and the girls, Kaylee and Madelyn, Paula and her two girls, Jackie and Rylan, and Steph and Tadem.

After the BBQ, I decided to take the girls on a little photo shoot. Here are my favorite pictures from the afternoon. I have so many more pictures, but it would take too long to post all of them.

This is my favorite of Kaylee

MacKenzie's 4th Birthday >> Princess Party

We had MacKenzie's 4th Birthday party today at the community center where we live. We made a crown craft, opened gifts, had cake, played a few games and otherwise enjoyed the company of each other. Everything went very well. The kids listened great, and I am sure had a fun time. I made MacKenzie's birthday cake this year, with the help of my mom....THANKS MOM... she put on almost all of the icing and smoothed it out nicely for me to help decorate. I baked it though...lol. I got the idea from the internet. I took two different cakes, and combined the ideas of them to get Mack's cake. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. Betty Crocker helped with the icing though...I hate making my own, so we bought the white whipped icing, and just added food coloring. I almost hated cutting it. Anyways here are a few pictures from our FUN afternoon....ENJOY...
The Castle Cake

All set up and ready to go
Even Cooper wore a birthday hat
Cheyanna and Mack decorating their crowns
Aunty Kim helping Kaylee
Kaylee, dancing and so proud, showing off her crown
The birthday princess
All the kids with their crowns they made...lol we couldn't get them all looking to the camera at once, but oh well
Accessories for her bedroom

Singing Happy Birthday to Mack
Playing Pin the Birdie on Cinderella's Hand game...they all kept peeking, except for Aidan, who thought it was neat he couldn't see
All MacKenzie's birthday gifts...missing a few in the picture though

A little tired from the festivities. Mack crawled up on Rick, and said I want to cuddle, and withing minutes fell asleep, as did he...lol
