Yesterday I woke Kaylee up from her nap just after 5:00. She came downstairs to find MacKenzie already sitting on the toilet. She came into the kitchen and said "Mom, I have to pee" so I said..."Go pee then".
So she walked over to the corner cupboard (pictured above), opened the door, turned around, pulled down her panties, and tried to sit in the tupperware cupboard to pee. But, because we have one of those lazy susan thingys in the cupboard, there was really no sturdy place for her to sit. She just couldn't figure it out. I stood there and watched her the whole time...laughing, and watching to see what she would do.
So I asked her "Kaylee, what are you doing" she said..."I'm going pee"
I think she was somewhat sleepwalking? It was hard to tell. So I took her to the toilet, and said to her she had to pee on the potty. She looked at me as if she already knew that. When I started giggling at the whole situation, she started giggling, but with a blank stare on her face.
This has got to be one of THE funniest things I have ever seen Kaylee do. I am still laughing at it. I can't wait til she gets old enough to hear the story and understand it.

that's hilarious!i used to babysit a kid that would pee in his drawers. i had to make sure i listened close so that i caught him before he did any damage! :) and now we're finding Kamryn in the middle of the nite in her closet - weird. :) :)
that is kinda funny..but yet that would scare me if that was aidan sleep walking...so far so sign of it. but thats funny she didnt wake up being that you pyhsically talked to her...crazy
poor little thing must have been so sound asleep she didn't know where she was - just that she needed to go to the bathroom. I remember one of mine sleep walking - it would in summer when they stayed up too late and were behind in sleep. Kids need sleep...come to think of it, so do Mom's
those are stories that get told at weddings!!!! Priceless.
