Now can someone explain to me how a two and a half year old little girl (MACKENZIE) can outsmart her 27 year old daddy (RICK)? Let me tell you a story:
Lets see, Daddy takes this little girl up to bed, well to her bedroom, she wouldn't go near her bed. Only to have Mommy (ANGIE) come up there so she would get in her bed. So Mommy and Daddy said goodnight to this little girl, turned off the lights and closed the door. About five minutes later, mommy and daddy hear a KNOCK KNOCK coming from this little girl's room. Mommy sent Daddy upstairs, figuring it was just a need for a refill of her drink. (cause if mommy were to go upstairs, that is all it would have been).
Mommy thought this might be funny, so she turned the monitor on, and listened to this little girl tell her *story*. Mommy heard..."Daddy I have to pee". So Daddy said "Ok", and proceeded to take her to the upstairs bathroom. Then Mommy heard "I want the little potty Daddy" (which happens to be DOWNstairs. The monitor all of a sudden got quiet, and Mommy could hear the rails moving in the stairway. All of a sudden, Mommy sees a little girl, holding her Daddy's hands and guiding him downstairs.
Soon as Daddy let go of that little girl's hand, she was off and running to play with her toys. Mommy couldn't help but laugh (secretly so the little girl wouldn't see). Mommy put this little girl on the potty, because thats why she came downstairs. Daddy went to get the little girl a refill on her drink. Mommy came in the kitchen after Daddy, and all Daddy had to say was "Wow, did she ever play me. She held my hand like she actually wanted to hold my hand. And she had the cutest little face, and she asked SOOO nicely."
Mommy just laughed and laughed and laughed, and took the little girl back up to bed.
Now, I am not saying Rick can't control MacKenzie, he is just a sucker for that soft voice, and big blue eyes. I however, have been played by that little girl too, but I know her game. Rick just needs to play against her a little more, one of these times he might win. LOL. Its not always like that way for him, but tonight was the first time she really played him by holding his hand.

Kamryn already has the puppy dog eyes, and they work wonders!!
Kids are cute. I'm sure the more it happens though, eventually he won't be outsmarted!
I use to play tricks like that all the time.
