So for any moms who have lots of time on their hands, or like to be crafty, this is an excellent, simple, and very cheap project. Each sheet of colored felt is about $0.28 per sheet or 3 for $1.00. All I did was print off the pattern from the internet, cut it out, and draw the outline with a thin marker on the felt (which takes a little practice to keep it neat), then draw on the rest of the pattern, then cut out the felt.
Now some people have never heard of a felt board. So to briefly explain it, felt sticks to felt; it doesn't need tape, or velcro, or glue or anything. I haven't made the big board yet, but I was really excited about this person and the clothes. I think I have had more fun than MacKenzie has..lol. Anyways, I think thats all I have to say about this for now, so if you have any questions, or would like help making one of these for your little person, feel free to leave me a comment or email me.
The picture below is the doll undressed :) lol

These two ^v are my absolute favorite outfits!

I painted the white on the coat. Felt doesn't stick to paint when you layer the clothes, so if you choose to paint your felt pieces, try to make sure its the top layer of clothing, i.e. the coat. I haven't finished painting the hat yet.

This is supposed to be an astronaut, but I forgot to make him a flag. My mom thought he looked like a scuba diver..lol

She even comes with an umbrella too..I forgot to put that in the picture.

These pictures just some of the random clothes

thanks for the idea!
Wow! I must say that I never would have pegged you for being this crafty when we lived together. Well, you were crafty then but in different ways I think! LMAO! But in all seriousness I want one!
The pictures don't even show all of the "outfits" I have done, those are just a select few. I have way more of a selection in the bucket.
Jen- I can believe you want one, I think I am having more fun with it than the girls; cause I don't think the girls would care at this age what selection of clothes they have..but I do..lol
I will have to definitly get those patterns from you someday, not that aidan would play with them i think its more of a girly thing..but thats alright when i get my girl, she will love that idea!!
Its definitely not just a girl thing. The boys at the Toddler Time at the Library love playing with the felt board there. And you don't have to use it just for dress up, you can do number and alphabets, shapes, colors, fruits/foods, etc. I just started with the dressup doll, the rest I will be making too.
