Fountain Tire Christmas Party

We went to Rick's work's Christmas party last night. WHAT A BLAST!!! We had so much fun. We went to Yuk Yuks at the Park Town Hotel. We had supper and then 2 comedians performed. The first guy I found very offensive. He had a lot of great jokes, but some of them we not so nice. I mean, I can understand joking around sometimes, but then there is just plain mean. So anyways, Rick's boss had an open tab at the bar for the night. It was the first time Rick and I have been drunk in 4 years, since I got pregnant with MacKenzie. I can't even count the number of drinks we had. And neither one of us were hungover in the morning. And we didn't get sick either.

So after the comedy was over, a large group of us went to the Longbranch. Rick and I spent most of the night dancing. Both with each other and his friends from work. I even danced with Rick's boss. It was quite fun. A song came on that Rick and I both remembered from the first night we met (cause we met at the Longbranch). And we had fun dancing to that.

When we were ready to leave, Rick called a cab, and while we were waiting for it, 2 outher couples from his work, came outside also waiting for a cab. Well, one of his friends stole our cab..it was hilarious. He ran down the street to wave it down, and then jumped in the back seat, before it drove to where we were standing. We weren't mad, because it was hilarious watching him chase it down..he definitely earned that ride..lol. So anyways, we called for another cab, and it never came so I ended up calling my sister to come pick us up at 2:30 a.m. Good thing she was awake. She was watching a movie with a friend. So they came and got us and another couple. We all live in the same area, so we didn't have to drive far.

We had no kids for the night. We took them out to my parents place. So Rick and I made the most of our night. I got along great with his co-workers, and their dates. I also seen a guy I went to Elementary School with. His name is Philip. I used to come visit him all the time during high school, and seen him several times after I moved to Saskatoon. He was a great friend to me, and I was really happy to see him, and to hear how good his life was going for him. I always wonder what becomes of people we have crossed paths with when we were younger. Even though we may not rebuild the friendship that we once had, its still great to know that they have succeeded in some way, and that they are happy.

Anyways, thats my post for now.
