There is a few things I could actually blog about today. Well, I could have a few days ago, but I am much better at talking, and telling the stories rather than trying to keep up with my mind..lol.
Last night I went grocery shopping with mom to Superstore. Now I know why I take my children grocery shopping with me..lol. I spend way less when I have them, cause they don't give me much time to browse around..lol. So during my shopping, I was keeping my eye out for a christmas toy for Kaylee. I was thinking I would get her a toy vacuum cleaner, cause she loves helping me vaccuum. So, there were two I was contemplating getting, and decided against, only to turn down another isle, and find a Cleaning Cart. It is so neat. It has a mop, broom, dustpan, bucket and sponge, rag, vacuum cleaner, dust buster..etc. I will take a picture of it and post it after. It is like those carts you see people pushing around in a hotel. I am so excited about it. And it only cost $20 for 13 pieces. The other 2 vaccuums I was contemplating getting were both $20 and it was only 1 piece. I took it out of the box last night to play with it :) I can't wait til she sees it.
Next...lol..Rick is the sweetest guy ever. He is constantly reminding me of why I fell in love with the guy. Volunteering is not the first word in his dictionary, but its in there somewhere. We went out the other night, and we took two vehichles. He was going to go to Walmart, and I was heading home. He called me to tell me that he forgot his wallet in the van. I had to turn around and drive to Walmart so he could go shopping. Since I was there, I though I would just go shopping with him. Anyways, he got there before I did, so he said he'd wait at the front doors for me. I pulled in and drove down the middle lane towards the doors, and I could see him pacing back and forth waiting for me. However, I seen one of his cousins, so I stopped to talk to her, with Rick still in my view. After talking with his cousin, I found a parking spot almost right beside the doors, but when I got out I couldn't find Rick. As I started walkind towards the doors, I spotted Rick talking to an old couple. While I was talking with his cousin, he was watching one of the walmart employees unsucessfully trying to maneuver a fuse ball table into the back seat of this couple's car. So Rick though he would help get it in the car while he was waiting for me. Once they got it in the car, the doors couldn't close. The fuse ball table was a couple inches too long. So after the old couple were worrying how they were going to get it home, Rick offered to drive it to their home for them, as he had his truck. We ran into walmart to get what we needed, and Rick then drove the fuse ball table home for this old couple. The old couple were very grateful that Rick had offered to help them, they wouldn't let him leave without giving him a token of their appreciation. After talking to Rick, he said it reminded him of his Grandma, and all he could hear was her voice saying "Bless your heart". It made him feel so good inside. Not only is he happy, I am proud of his generosity, and Love him SO much for him helping out someone who needed it.
During the Christmas season, there are so many people who are rushing, pushing, and greedy. Its nice when we can take the time to slow down, and stop thinking about ourselves for one minute to make someone else's life a little easier. Rick did that, and it just make me have butterflies in my stomach when I see him do things like that. Its amazing the things God makes you do sometimes. If I hadn't stopped to stop to his cousin, he probably would have seen me drive up, and the old couple would have had to find another way to get their fuse ball table home. The part that makes me really wonder, is what made me decide to stop to talk, when I had the option of just driving by? I guess it doesn't really matter cause I am happy regardless.
Thats all I have to post about for now. I will post about MacKenzie's tests in the next day or so after I get the results.

Great post ang. Good to hear my big Bro lending a hand, this made me tear up..as Thats what exactly my grandma would have said!! thanks for shareing the storey.
that's the Rick i know & love. if we can just all give a little during this time of the year, it will make so many things better. i bet that couple will remember what Rick did for a long time and help someone else because of how they were helped. Pay it forward right?
and i'm totally going to pick up that toy from Superstore! Kamryn loves to clean (unlike her mother)! thanks for the great idea!
I love the gift you found for your daughter. It's amazing how little kids love to clean, eh? A girl my mom used to look after loved to give out coupons so she could clean your toilet-Rebekah Friesen
That is the sweetest story ever. It is so nice to hear that people will take the time for others at Christmas time. Whenever, I am in the mall these days it seems that everyone is so angry and frustrated and it makes for a very unpleasant trip!
