The Holidays

I hope everyone had a happy holiday. We sure did. Everything went very well for us through Christmas and New Years. Everyone got along, everyone had fun, and the girls were amazing through our travels. They stayed on schedule for the most part, keeping them happy through out all the visiting. MacKenzie had a blast opening gifts..in fact she opened more than just her own. Kaylee opened a total of two gifts throughout all of the Christmas celebrations. Kaylee wasn't into opening gifts, she preferred that they already be opened, and ready for her to play with. Everyone was spoiled for Christmas. We got a lot of wonderful gifts, as did the girls. I wouldn't say that they have one favorite gift over any other, but the girls loved every gift they recieved. Lets just say the TV isn't on that much anymore.

For New Years, Rick and I stayed at home. We went out the night before with some friends from his work. We went to watch the UFC fight, featuring Chuck Liddell vs. Tito Ortiz. It was a great night. We went to the lounge at Athena's and watched the fight on the big screen. The food was great and the people sitting at the tables next to us were fun to socialize with as well. Rick's brother babysat for us, and he did a wonderful job. The girls listened to him very well, and even went to bed without any trouble.
