Kaylee's 2nd Birthday in Pictures

So, many of my faithful readers..Jen and Jodi in particular..lol..you will be so impressed with me!! I have pictures posted the same day as the party, rather than a week or many weeks later. We had Kaylee's party today. We had a hot dog lunch, cake, and presents. Just our families came together for the party, so it was nice. We had it a little earlier than we did MacKenzie's party. I liked having the lunch better than an afternoon party. Cause the girls had a nap after everyone left, and it gave me lots of time to clean up and get ready for supper, and have a little bit of time to relax. I think next year for one of the parties, I will make a turkey supper for everyone. But we will see what happens next year. :)

Aidan kept trying to sit on Kaylee's gift, just this one in particular though..it was cute!

Kaylee was actually interested in opening gifts this year.

This is all the gifts she got for her birthday, plus the money she got to put in her piggy bank

Kaylee blowing out her candles. And she actually could do it.

Just having a LITTLE taste :)

Aidan with a little icing on his nose..he set a trend for the girls. They had to have icing on their noses too.

I don't comment, cause I have nothing to comment about... however Kaylee got a new toy I can't wait to come over and play with!

Very nice! I cannot believe how many presents kids get! Maybe I just don't remember birthday parties from that long ago but I swear I had it rough. I am also very impressed at the speed!

That is so nice that Kaylee is at the age where she wants to open her own presents and can blow out her own candles. It makes the work of planning a part seem more appreciated by the actual guest of honor!

And yes, I am very excited to go to Edmonton. Despite the circumstances, I am excited to see my two cousins I haven't met yet, and to spend some time with my extended family. Also, its going to be nice to just get away from home for a bit.
