Best Birthday Party Ever

The girls were invited to their friend Jesse's Birthday party this past weekend. Our friends live out on a Dairy farm near Warman. The party was great, there were lots of people and the BBQ was awesome. After majority of the people left, our friend Bruce took us and the kids out to the barn to see some "Baby cows". The girls just loved it! The calves are so friendly..well most of them anyways. So it made for a very pleasant experience. Here are a few pictures.

It just so happened that while we were in the barn, one of the cow's water broke, and so we got to watch a cow birth. Rick and I, as well as the girls, obviously, had never seen a cow birth before, so this was exciting for both of us. The girls were pretty excited to see a baby cow come out of a mommy cow, even though they really don't understand the process. The next day, MacKenzie tried to pull a baby cow out of her stuffed puppy's bum..it was hilarious. Cause thats how the baby cow was born. (Bruce actually pulled the cow out, and at first he lifted the cow's tail to move it out of the way..thats where MacKenzie got that from)

Notice Kaylee's expression on her face..lol..she was so thrilled there was a baby cow...she was so excited one cow turned into two.
